A.S Dragon rocks.

For those of you not in the know, A.S Dragon is a hard-groovin’ band out of France. I won’t be an arse and try to describe or classify the music; the site has plenty of sound clips for you to make your own decision. I had the pleasure of seeing them open for Zwan (RIP) in Paris some time ago — they restored my faith in seeing opening acts — and recently dusted off the CD.

For those of you in the know, it’s time to spin this one up again. Crank it hard. Share it with your neighbors. Breathe the haze that is “Un hemisphere dans une chevelure.” Enjoy the utter chaos in the middle of “Nighttime,” especially Natasha’s bloody-murder scream. Groove hard to the rhythm section of “Are we talking enough.” Most of all, hope for another album.
