A.S Dragon rocks.

For those of you not in the know, A.S Dragon is a hard-groovin’ band out of France. I won’t be an arse and try to describe or classify the music; the site has plenty of sound clips for you to make your own decision. I had the pleasure of seeing them open for Zwan (RIP) in Paris some time ago — they restored my faith in seeing opening acts — and recently dusted off the CD.

For those of you in the know, it’s time to spin this one up again. Crank it hard. Share it with your neighbors. Breathe the haze that is “Un hemisphere dans une chevelure.” Enjoy the utter chaos in the middle of “Nighttime,” especially Natasha’s bloody-murder scream. Groove hard to the rhythm section of “Are we talking enough.” Most of all, hope for another album.

For the brotha wondering about J. Starr, last we heard, he was in a private hospital outside of Paris last Spring. He’s kind of gone down the shitter, much like his career.

Speaking of douches, is there anything more annoying than knobnutz who feel that they have to run to the bus queue to get there before you (because, as it’s well known, there is only 1 bush during rush hours)…..?

…inquiring minds want to know: whatever happened to Joey Starr? The last I heard of him, he was still living in the Paris projects yet driving a rather pricey Land Rover.

Why a Land Rover, and not a BenzBenzBenz? I suppose, “Laisse-moi zim zoom zang, dans mon Land Rover” just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Well, it looks like November has come early in terms of weather. If only it would hurry it’s ass up and we can get this election over with.

Big week here. A new site is about to go live, hopefully a second one will soon and working on a few other projects.

My last post recalled the greatness of Ma Benz. I had to dig deep in the archives to find the CD, but it was well worth it!

I know Kool Shen put out a Solo Album recently and I expect it to be every bit as good as the stuff NTM put out.

Tomorrow night the Libertines are in town. I wish I could be arsed to go see them, but if there’s no Pete, what’s the point?
